"In the Spring of 2021, I contracted COVID and was really sick. I have asthma so it hit me hard. I was on a breathing machine for almost a month before I was strong enough to breathe on my own again. Pivotal provided me with emergency assistance funds to help cover my rent, car, and insurance while I was recovering. The support they provided was incredible. I never thought anyone would care this much about my well-being and my college education. Thanks to Pivotal, I gave my absolute best in school and continued on a path to my degree." - Ellie, Pivotal Scholar
