GIVE OUR GRADS A CHEER
Become part of our virtual cheer squad to celebrate our graduating high school and college seniors.
Only half of foster youth graduate from high school and just 3% graduate from college. Our scholars have beaten those odds, but sadly the graduation ceremonies for the Class of 2020 are canceled. We need your company’s help to create the celebration they deserve. Your employees can become our virtual cheer squad by sending us brief videos with their shout outs and celebratory messages. It’s an easy way for people looking to volunteer and make a difference.
HOW IT WORKS
STEP 1:
Get Your Company Signed Up
Contact Marilyn Rogers, Corporate Relations Officer, to get your company signed up to participate in the Virtual Cheer Squad. Marilyn will send you all the details you need to activate your employees in this virtual volunteer opportunity
STEP 2:
Record Your Message
Employees create their own 5-7 second video clip of their quick cheer, dance move, or congratulatory message. We encourage you to be creative. Consider wearing your company swag, and then sing, dance, use noisemakers, wear party hats, costumes, or simply give a heartfelt shout out. Anything you think will bring a smile to our graduates’ faces.
STEP 3:
Upload Your Video
Each company’s “team captain” will be given a unique link for their employees to use when uploading their videos. Be sure to get your videos uploaded by May 27.
Your video will be compiled with others to create a community-wide Cheer Squad and shared with our proud 2020 graduates!
