In late April, Pivotal welcomed our new Chief Financial & Operating Officer, Candice Chung. For nearly two decades, Candice has worked in the non-profit sector, committed to improving outcomes through access to education.  

Most recently, Candice served as CFO of AI4ALL, a national nonprofit that is transforming the pipeline of artificial intelligence practitioners and creating a more inclusive, human-centered discipline. During her time at AI4ALL, Candice developed financial systems and implemented organizational strategy with operational efficiency and long-term sustainability as guiding principles.  

Candice has also served in various finance & grant management roles at KIPP Public Schools, including overseeing a portfolio of over $60M in Federal and private funding. Candice is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and started her career in public accounting at PwC.  

Candice currently resides in the SF Bay Area, but has called Lake Tahoe, Virginia, and New Jersey home. She is mom to two energetic boys and aspires someday to play competitive pickleball.
